My Mom and I had dinner here on Monday. We had been in twice before. Our first visit was close to perfect. I had the pb&j burger, it was delicious! I paired it with a California Creamin Nitro that was on tap. At first taste it became my favorite beer, so good! The server was personable and knowledgable about the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The second visit did not measure up to the first. The burgers were overcooked, sent back and came out overcooked a second time. There was not a manager on site. Everyone and every where has bad days. So we decided to give it another try and went in Monday. Well they did not have the beer I craved anymore, so okay, it gives me a chance to try something new. No big deal, they do rotate the taps. We ordered burgers and when our burgers were served we took off the top bun and the buns were burned black., and both burgers ordered medium and medium rare were well done! We communicated to the server, who was absolutely wonderful. She retrieved the manager who came to our table. Now I was discouraged at this point and wanted to leave. The manager convinced us to "give him a chance to make it right". He told us he would cook it himself. So we agreed. He did go to the open kitchen and proceeded to cook our meals and took the opportunity to show and teach the cook at the same time. Our burgers came out deliciously perfect and the french fries are really good! The manager and the server went the extra mile and we left full and happy.
We will go back as we like the comfortable atmosphere and two out of three visits have been great! Like I said we all have bad days. We also deserve to be given a second chance.
